(WNY News Now) – A 29-year-old resident of Versailles, NY, was arrested on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), speeding, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st after a routine traffic stop in Cherry Creek.
Cherry Creek – On the night of November 22, 2023, at approximately 10:23 PM, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a routine patrol in Cherry Creek when they stopped a vehicle for a suspected traffic violation. Upon investigation, the driver, identified as Christopher Stockwell from Versailles, NY, was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Stockwell, 29, was taken into custody and charged with DWI, Speeding in a designated zone, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st. Following the arrest, Stockwell underwent processing and was subsequently released with tickets to appear in the Town of Cherry Creek Court at a later date and time.
