(WNY News Now) – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Corry, PA, man for driving under the influence on Pekin Hill Rd., Clymer, NY.

Clymer – On the night of November 29, 2023, at approximately 9:12 PM, deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a routine traffic stop on Pekin Hill Rd. in Clymer, NY. The operator of the vehicle, identified as Todd W. Bowen, a 60-year-old male from Corry, PA, was subsequently arrested for multiple charges related to impaired driving.

Following a thorough investigation, it was determined that Bowen had been operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The charges levied against him include failing to use a turning signal, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .18% or higher.

Bowen was issued traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of French Creek court at a later date and time to address the charges.
