(WNY News Now) – Ellicott Police have apprehended a 24-year-old man following an investigation into the reported theft of a credit card from a Celoron, NY address. The stolen card was purportedly used to make unauthorized purchases exceeding $1500.

Ellicott, NY – Ellicott Police have concluded an investigation into a case of grand larceny, resulting in the arrest of Cayden L. Ryan, 24. The incident revolves around the reported theft of a credit card from an address in Celoron, NY. Allegedly, Ryan utilized the stolen card for purchases totaling over $1500 before its absence was detected.

The investigation revealed that the unauthorized transactions occurred at various locations within the Town of Ellicott and the City of Jamestown. Subsequent to the findings, Cayden L. Ryan was taken into custody by authorities. He has been issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.
