(WNY News Now) – Olean, N.Y. – Mayor Aiello presented a Special Proclamation for “Zonta Says NO to Domestic Violence” during the Olean Common Council Meeting on November 28, 2023.
The proclamation states that Zonta envisions a world where no woman lives in fear of violence. And in an effort to build a better world for women it advocates for those who have suffered gender-based violence through its local clubs. This year the Zonta Club has encircled trees on North Union Street and Lincoln Park with orange ribbons to honor the victims of domestic violence and to raise awareness to this cause.
