(WNY News Now) – Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office apprehends a 37-year-old man for alleged criminal mischief at the County Jail.
Cattaraugus County, N.Y. – Following an investigation by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau, Brian M. Johnson was arrested on December 4, 2023, at 1:15 pm. The charges include one count of Criminal Mischief in the third degree. Johnson is accused of forcefully removing a phone from the wall of the Cattaraugus County Jail’s recreation room, subsequently hurling it across the space.
Currently detained in the CCSO Jail, Johnson was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to face charges in the town of Little Valley Court at a later date and time.
