JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (WNY NEWS NOW) – Mainly dry but mostly cloudy weather will be across the area through most of Wednesday.  A warm front will push through the area tonight and into Thursday with some light rain/snow showers. 

Wednesday will feature more clouds than sun with a few light snow flurries in the air. High temperatures will be in the lower 30’s.

Light snow showers will overspread the region tonight and into Thursday in association with a warm front lifting through the region.

A dusting to an inch of snow will be possible across the area through Thursday. Highs on Thursday will be near 40 degrees.

High pressure will maintain mainly quiet weather for Friday and into Saturday with some sunshine.









Temperatures will be well into the 40’s on Friday and reach the mid to upper 50’s on Saturday.

Widespread rain will move into Western New York Saturday night and continue into Sunday. Rainfall totals from this system will be around a 1/2″ – 1″ across most spots.

Some gusty winds will also occur right before and along a cold front that is expected to cross the region later Sunday and into Sunday night.

Behind the cold front, colder air and the potential for lake effect snow will return into early next week.
