(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Voters in the Jamestown City School District have approved the JPS 2024-29 Capital Project with 89% of the vote on Tuesday, Dec. 12. The project needed 60% approval in order to pass.
Results are as follows:
YES – 379
NO – 46
Blank/Void/Scattering – 2
The project, which had no proposed tax impact to local taxpayers, will aim to cover $126 million
dollars of improvement work to each of the district’s school buildings and bus garage.
