(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, N.Y. – In a collaborative effort to support the community, The Jock Shop in Brooklyn Square is hosting an annual event in conjunction with St. Susan’s Soup Kitchen, aimed at gathering food and monetary donations to assist those in need during the holiday season.
WNY News Now visited The Jock Shop in Brooklyn Square and spoke with Randy Marsh, who shared insights into the ongoing charitable event. The Jock Shop has been an integral part of St. Susan’s Holiday Hall for over a decade, providing accessible space in their expansive parking lot.
The event, running from December 14th to December 16th, seeks to collect essential donations to bolster St. Susan’s efforts in aiding the less fortunate throughout the holidays and beyond. Randy Marsh emphasized the importance of community involvement, noting the positive impact the event has had since its inception.
Residents are encouraged to participate and contribute to this worthy cause before the event concludes on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 3 pm. All collected food and donations will be promptly transferred to St. Susan’s Soup Kitchen to assist in their ongoing mission to support those in need.
