(WNY News Now) – A 47-year-old Jamestown man was arrested for violating a valid stay away order, confirmed during a routine order of protection check conducted by police officers and probation personnel in Jamestown.

Jamestown, N.Y. – During a GIVE detail on the northside of Jamestown, officers discovered Rudy L Ryen, on probation for criminal contempt, inside the victim’s residence. This violation resulted in his arrest, and he now faces charges of Criminal Contempt 1st degree, having previously been convicted of Criminal Contempt 2nd degree.

Ryen is currently held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
