(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – On December 16, 2023, at 5:52 pm, Jamestown police responded to a report of an order of protection violation at an East Side residence, resulting in the arrest of a 35-year-old male from Jamestown.
Responding to a call at an East Side Jamestown residence on December 16, 2023, at approximately 5:52 pm, officers from the Jamestown Police Second Platoon apprehended Andrew Cooper, aged 35, on the scene. An investigation revealed that Cooper was in violation of an order of protection issued by the Jamestown City Court.
Without resistance, Andrew Cooper was taken into custody and subsequently transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment. The charges filed against him include Criminal Contempt 1st Degree.
