(WNY News Now) – On December 22, 2023, Jamestown police responded to an ongoing domestic disturbance, resulting in the arrest of a 26-year-old Jamestown resident on charges of Criminal Mischief 4th Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

In the early hours of December 22, 2023, the 1st Platoon Officers responded to the parking area outside the Jamestown Police Department, where an altercation involving Brianna L. Leis, 26, a Jamestown resident, had unfolded. Responding to a verbal dispute, officers found an adult male and a juvenile female victim in one vehicle, and Leis in another.

During their investigation, it was determined that Leis, amidst the verbal argument, had allegedly thrown a brick at the victims’ vehicle on a north side street. The incident resulted in damage to the vehicle, with the juvenile victim present during the altercation. Subsequently, Leis was apprehended without resistance and is currently held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court on charges of Criminal Mischief 4th Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
