Dear Editor:
The person representing NY-23 in Congress recently published a statement about the Colorado
Supreme Court’s ruling affecting the 2024 election.
That statement was, I thought, a bit incendiary, employing words such as “abuse” and “assault”
and I worried that people might tune into the dog-whistling and become riled by what he said.
So, I fixed it.
Today’s unprecedented Colorado Supreme Court decision exemplifies blind justice — the very pillar of our
system of government. This ruling will likely be appealed and work its way through the courts as our laws provide. As patriotic Americans, we must calmly and patiently await the outcome and accept it when it comes.
