(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A 43-year-old Jamestown resident, was apprehended by Jamestown Police Department officers on December 23, 2023 at 1:30 am for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree after attempting to evade a vehicle stop.

In the early hours of December 23, 2023, Jamestown police officers observed a southbound vehicle on Winsor St. with a fictitious license plate near Harrison St. Upon attempting to halt the vehicle, its occupants allegedly fled on foot. Surveillance footage from a nearby business identified Houston as the driver, confirming the digital image of a license plate printed and affixed to cardboard. This incident mirrors Houston’s arrest on October 13, 2023, for a similar offense.

Charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree, Houston was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
