(WNY News Now) – A 25-year-old Jamestown resident, was apprehended by the Jamestown Police First Platoon officers on January 1, 2024, at approximately 9:30 AM in response to a peace officer call related to an ongoing domestic violence case.
At 9:20 AM on January 1, 2024, officers responded to a west side address where Colon was allegedly found hiding in the basement. Earlier, he had been charged with an alleged domestic violence offenses. Colon was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. The charges against him include Assault 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, Overdriving, Torturing, and Injuring animals. The arrest was executed without resistance with Colon discovered under a stack of boxes in the residence.
Currently held pending arraignment, he awaits legal proceedings at Jamestown City Court.
