(WNY News Now) – Busti, NY – NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that I, the undersigned collector of taxes in and for the Town of Busti, have received the tax roll and warrant for collection for County and Town taxes for the year 2024, and that I will attend at the Town Administration Building, 125 Chautauqua Avenue, Lakewood, New York, in said Town on Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (excluding holidays) starting on January 8, 2024.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, taxes may be paid on or before February 06, 2024 without interest. On all such taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of one percentum for the month of February, and an additional one percentum for each additional month or fraction thereof thereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the Chautauqua County Department of Finance. The last day for payment of taxes at the Town Administration Building is April 1, 2024.
