(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 41-year-old male, was arrested by Jamestown Police during a routine traffic stop at Phillips St. / E. 2nd St. on January 4, 2024, at 12:47 AM. He faces charges of Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree for violating a full stay-away order of protection against one of the passengers.

During the traffic stop conducted by the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd platoon, it was revealed that the driver had a protective order against one of the passengers. Daniel A. Lutgen was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He is currently held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court. The driver received traffic tickets and was released.
