    (WNY News Now) – A 21-year-old from Collins Center, NY, was apprehended by deputies on Otto-Maples Rd in Otto for driving while intoxicated after neglecting a stop sign.

    Otto, NY – On Jan 6, 2024, around Otto-Maples Rd, Collins Center resident Alex Priest faced arrest for DWI. Deputies, prompted by his alleged failure to halt at a stop sign, conducted a traffic stop. Subsequent investigations revealed signs of intoxication and open containers inside the vehicle. Priest now faces charges, including Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated DWI with a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.18% or higher, and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.

    The 21-year-old is scheduled to appear in the Town of Otto Court to address the charges.
