(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 41-year-old female, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th after a routine traffic stop on Prather Ave and Forest Ave.

On January 11, 2024, at approximately 7:30 pm, Jamestown Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit halted a vehicle on Prather Ave and Forest Ave for observed traffic violations. The driver, identified as Megan E. Feldt, consented to a search, allegedly revealing four Clonazepam pills, a controlled substance, without a prescription. Feldt was peacefully taken into custody, and a subsequent search yielded .5g of crack-cocaine on her person.

Feldt faces two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. She was booked and released with an appearance ticket, adhering to New York State’s Bail Reform, to appear in Jamestown City Court.
