(WNY News Now) – Two individuals have been arrested after a three-month narcotics investigation led to a traffic stop in the Town of Hanover, resulting in the seizure of significant quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, and MDMA.
A three-month narcotics investigation in Fredonia and Dunkirk culminated in the arrest of 45 year old Jennifer Jadwin and 42 year old Joshua Adams on January 15th in the Town of Hanover. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, along with narcotics investigators from the Sheriff’s Office and Dunkirk Police, conducted a traffic stop on Rt 5. A subsequent search resulted in the seizure of 39.2 grams of fentanyl, 32 grams of cocaine, 58.07 grams of crack cocaine, 9.8 grams of MDMA, and drug distribution materials. Adams faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd and 3rd, and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd. Jadwin is charged with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd. Both were taken to the centralized arraignment program at the Chautauqua County Jail. Authorities encourage community members to report suspicious activity.
