(WNY News Now) – Salamanca, NY – A 33-year-old Salamanca, NY, resident was apprehended on January 11, 2024, during a routine traffic stop on Newton St., Salamanca, at approximately 10:36 AM.
In a mid-morning incident on January 11, 2024, deputies executed a traffic stop on Newton St., Salamanca, leading to the arrest of Khristerpher M. Ellis, 33. An investigation revealed that Ellis had two active bench warrants issued from Cattaraugus County Court.
The warrants prompted his apprehension and subsequent transport to the CCSO Jail. Ellis is currently held at the jail pending further court proceedings.
