(WNY News Now) – A 27 year old Fredonia man is facing DWI charges following a crash in the Town of Pomfret.
On January 20, 2024, at 03:15 AM, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an automatic crash notification in Pomfret. Deputies found a crashed vehicle with property damage, and the driver, Sergio Bautista Ramirez, was identified. A brief investigation determined Ramirez was intoxicated, leading to his arrest. After processing, Ramirez was released with tickets and is scheduled to appear in Pomfret court at a later date.
