(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A structure fire erupted at 1619 Forest Ave. Extension in the Town of Busti on Jan. 21, 2024, at 11:14 PM. The Busti Fire Department and mutual aid departments swiftly responded, with the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team called in for an origin and cause inquiry.

At around 11:14 PM on Jan. 21, 2024, emergency responders were alerted to a structure fire at 1619 Forest Ave. Extension, Busti. Collaborating with mutual aid departments, the Busti Fire Department managed the incident. Subsequently, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team initiated an investigation, focusing on the wood stove piping as the suspected origin of the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
