(WNY News Now) – Two individuals have been arrested after Ellicott police responded to a shoplifting report at Wegmans on 01/19/24 at approximately 3:01 PM.
On 01/19/24 at approximately 3:01 PM, Ellicott police responded to a shoplifting report at Wegmans, involving Luis R. Rivera Gonzalez (35) and Luis A. Hernandez Roman (54).
During the investigation, it was discovered that both individuals were observed concealing items within the store and subsequently passed the point of sale without making any payment. The suspects, Luis R. Rivera Gonzalez and Luis A. Hernandez Roman, were arrested and later released with appearance tickets for a court hearing in the Town of Ellicott. The court appearance is scheduled for a later date.
