    (WNY News Now) – Salamanca, NY – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a  46-year-old man from Timsdate, on charges related to an outstanding warrant.

    Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of Troy A. Safford, 46, in connection to an active warrant. The arrest took place on Jan. 21, 2024 at S4 Central Ave, Salamanca, NY 14779. Safford, taken into custody without incident, was subsequently brought before Allegany Court for arraignment.

    Released on his own recognizance, he was then transferred to the Olean Police Department, where an additional warrant awaited. Safford is set to reappear in Allegany Town Court on a later date.
