(WNY News Now) – In a late-night operation on 1/24/24, Jamestown Police apprehended two individuals during a routine traffic stop on Newland Ave. Both individuals now face multiple drug-related charges.
At approximately 12:01 AM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd platoon halted a vehicle on Newland Ave. and Myrtle St. due to a traffic violation. Subsequent investigations revealed 15.3 grams of cocaine, along with quantities of Fentanyl, Suboxone strips, Clonazepam pills, and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and on the occupants, identified as Terry L. Kendall Jr. (33) and Brook A. Patterson (38). Both were taken into custody without incident.
Kendall faces charges including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, as well as Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree. He is being held pending arraignment. Patterson, charged with Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, was released with an appearance ticket alongside traffic tickets. The case is set for Jamestown City Court.
