(WNY News Now) – On 01/27/2024, The Jamestown Police Department responded to a call reporting a domestic dispute at a South Side address, uncovering violations of a stay-away order of protection and a series of disturbing incidents involving the offender and the victim, leading to the arrest of a Jamestown man was arrested on various charges.

On 01/27/2024, Thomas J. Papaserge was arrested on various charges following a domestic dispute at a South Side address. The Jamestown Police Department responded to a call at 2327 hours, uncovering violations of a stay-away order of protection and a series of disturbing incidents involving Papaserge and the victim.

In the course of the investigation, it was revealed that Papaserge, with a previous order of protection against him, engaged in a physical altercation with the victim earlier in the day. This involved choking, dragging the victim by their hair into an apartment, and holding them against their will. Later that evening, Papaserge threatened the victim with a pipe wrench, followed by physical assaults, including punching and another attempt at choking.

Thomas J. Papaserge faces multiple charges, including Criminal Contempt 1st (3 counts), Menacing 2nd, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (2 counts), Harassment 2nd, Assault 3rd, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, and Aggravated Criminal Contempt. He is currently held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
