(WNY News Now) – The Jamestown Police Department is actively investigating the death of Marlon Clay, a 28-year-old Buffalo resident, found shot and killed in a Jamestown apartment at 401 W. 4th St.

Investigations began on Wednesday, 1/24/24, when local authorities responded to a report of an unresponsive individual. A suspect was swiftly identified, leading to a joint effort between Jamestown Police Detectives, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, and Buffalo Police Department. The suspect was apprehended in Buffalo, NY, on Thursday, 1/25/24, with a loaded 9mm pistol. The ongoing collaboration involves the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office, and charges are anticipated.
