(WNY News Now) – In a routine traffic stop on 1/29/24 at 2:17 p.m, the Jamestown Police Violence Interdiction Unit detained a 48-year-old man on W. 7th St and Lafayette St. He faces charges of being a fugitive from justice, with outstanding warrants from Florida.

During the stop, initiated for observed traffic infractions, officers discovered Selwyn T. Goodlow’s legal status. The 48-year-old was arrested without resistance and is currently held at the Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court. The charges against Goodlow include a felony for being a Fugitive From Justice. The Jamestown Police Department commended their Violence Interdiction Unit for swiftly resolving the situation.
