(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – In the early hours of Feb. 2, 2024, a domestic dispute at a Southside residence in Jamestown led to the arrest of a 41-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman on charges of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation.

At approximately 01:17 AM, Third Platoon officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute, finding David A. Burkholder, 41, and Cynthia M. Messere, 29, allegedly involved in a physical altercation, both accused of choking each other. Responding without incident, officers took both individuals into custody on-site, subsequently transporting them to Jamestown City Jail.

The charges of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation are now pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
