(WNY news Now) – Jamestown, NY – In the early hours of 01/31/2024, Jamestown Police apprehended a 38-year-old man on Harrison Street at North Main Street. The Jamestown resident faces charges related to the alleged kidnapping of a minor in Warren, PA.

Jamestown Police, 3rd Platoon, detained Michael D. Johnson at 1:43 am following a street check in Brooklyn Square. The 38-year-old Jamestown resident was found to have an outstanding warrant from Warren, PA, accusing him of Interference with Custody of Children, Concealment of Whereabouts of Child, and Kidnapping of a Minor. Johnson was arrested without incident and is currently held at Jamestown City Jail, pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
