(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – On Feb. 2, 2024, at 7:45 pm, officers thwarted a burglary in progress at Northwest Arena, leading to the arrest of 35-year-old Jamestown resident.
Responding to a reported burglary, second platoon officers discovered Dustin D. Pickett allegedly attempting to pilfer from a restricted area. His target included a café’s tip jar, valued at $15. Pickett was swiftly apprehended, transported to Jamestown City Jail, and is currently held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. Charges against Pickett include petit larceny and burglary in the 3rd degree.
