Domestic Dispute Leads to Arrest of Jamestown Resident for Assault and Weapon Possession

(WNY News Now) – A 56-year-old Jamestown woman was arrested following a domestic dispute that allegedly resulted in a stabbing, resulting in charges of Assault 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th.

On February 10, 2024, at around 2:00 PM, law enforcement responded to a westside residence in Jamestown after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with stab wounds to the forearm, allegedly inflicted by Anderson during a physical altercation stemming from a verbal argument. Anderson was identified as the primary aggressor and taken into custody. She sustained injuries during the incident and was treated at UPMC before being transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Anderson faces charges of Assault 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th and is held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
