(WNY News Now) – Buffalo, NY – In anticipation of National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, Girl Scouts of Western New York (GSWNY) collaborates with BraidBabes to host a special event featuring cookie-inspired braids, treats, and exclusive merchandise at the Walden Galleria Mall on Feb 17, 2024.

Girl Scouts and hair enthusiasts are invited to indulge in a unique experience at the Walden Galleria Mall on Feb 17, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm. BraidBabes will set up a pay-per-braid bar, offering a variety of stylish braids priced between $15 and $30, inspired by beloved Girl Scout cookies.

Attendees can savor Girl Scout cookie flavors, create friendship bracelets, and explore exclusive merchandise at the Pop-Up Girl Scout Shop. This event not only brings joy but also supports the development of crucial leadership skills in Girl Scouts, including goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

All Girl Scout cookie varieties, priced at $6.00 per package, contribute to local empowerment initiatives. Purchase cookies directly from Girl Scouts, visit www.gswny.org/findcookies, or use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder starting Feb 17th.

For those outside the local area, GSWNY offers online direct shipments, supporting their mission to empower girls. Additionally, through the Cookie Share Program, customers can donate cookies to local Military, First Responders, and Veterans, benefiting both the troop and the community.
