(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 55-year-old resident, is facing charges of Failure to Keep Right, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after a traffic stop conducted by officers on Willard St. at Allen St. in the early hours of Feb. 13, 2024.

Officers from the Third Platoon initiated the stop at approximately 2:29 am due to observed violations of failing to keep right and driving an unregistered vehicle. Subsequent field sobriety tests indicated impairment, leading to Johnson’s arrest for alleged DWI.

The Jamestown City Court is holding Johnson pending arraignment. Despite being taken to the City Jail, he refused a chemical test to determine blood alcohol content.
