(WNY News Now) – WNY News Now recently sat down with Hector Alverio, owner of the aptly named Hot Spot Cafe, located on the corner of 3rd Street and Pine Street in downtown Jamestown, to shine a light on what has become a mainstay of the Pearl City.
The Hot Spot Cafe, going into its 5th year of operation in the city of Jamestown, has quickly become a beloved staple among the community. Owned and operated by the always affable Hector Alverio, the cafe is known for its diverse and delicious dishes. Whether its their Cuban Sandwich, or the Philly Cheeseteak, or the Steak Rice and Beans, the Hot Spot Cafe is sure to have a dish that everyone can delight in.
But they offer more than just food. The cafe has recently acquired a liquor license, allowing them to sell alcoholic drinks. And if that’s not your preference, they also offer slushies in addition to your standard beverages.
And their services don’t end when you walk out of the cafe’s four walls. They also operate a large catering company, as well as a travel bar, chicken barbecue business, and a even a DJ company. So if festivities are in order, they are more than capable of providing what you need.
The Hot Spot Cafe is open everyday from 7:30 to 4, with occasional extensions on Fridays, depending on the circumstances. They can be reached at (716) 785-4395.
Hector spoke of his gratitude to the city that has welcomed them into our homes and our hearts, and reaffirmed that they have no plans of leaving us anytime soon. So whatever the future may hold, we look forward to having the Hot Spot Cafe in it.
