(WNY News Now) – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reports a fatal incident on Dye Road, Town of Villenova, as a Utility Terrain Vehicle collides with a tree, resulting in the death of a 64-year old Westfield, NY man.
On February 10th, 2024, at 11:36 PM, emergency responders rushed to Dye Road following reports of a motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that a Utility Terrain Vehicle had veered off the road, striking a tree. William L Shreve, the 64-year-old operator and lone occupant, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. No charges have been filed, and the incident remains under investigation.
