(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 37-year-old Jamestown man faces charges of Harassment 2nd and Menacing 2nd following a domestic incident on Feb 19, 2024, at 10:30 AM.

Jamestown Police Dept 1st platoon responded to a domestic complaint at Foote Ave / Harrison St, prompted by a call from the Jamestown Fire Dept. Allegedly, Douglas Puckett menaced a female victim with an exacto knife before pursuing her down the street. Puckett, a 37-year-old Jamestown resident, has been charged with two counts of Harassment 2nd and one count of Menacing 2nd. The incident resulted in his immediate transport to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

The charges stem from the reported threatening behavior towards the female victim during the domestic dispute.
