(WNY News Now) – A 48-year-old Jamestown resident was apprehended on Feb. 17, 2024, at 9:05 p.m. during a routine traffic stop, leading to the discovery of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

In a narcotics investigation on Liberty St. and E 8th St., Jamestown police officers detained Patrick F. Patterson, 48, during a traffic stop on Feb. 17, 2024, at 9:05 p.m. Patterson, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have an outstanding warrant. A subsequent search revealed a quantity of methamphetamine, morphine, and a digital scale.

Patterson faces charges of two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and one count of Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree. Held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court, his prior failure to appear factored into this decision.
