(WNY News Now) – A 35-year-old Jamestown resident faces charges of Harassment 2nd, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, Criminal Mischief 4th, and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd following a domestic dispute on Feb. 24, 2024 at 8:18 a.m.

On the morning of 2/24/24, Jamestown Police Department’s 1st Platoon responded to a reported domestic dispute on the southside of the city. Hector Guevara allegedly assaulted a female victim, preventing her from leaving the residence and confiscating her phone during an attempt to call 911. When officers arrived, Guevara resisted arrest, attempting to leave the scene, but was promptly apprehended. The suspect is currently held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court. Charges include Harassment 2nd, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, Criminal Mischief 4th, and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd. The victim, identified as a female, received medical attention for injuries sustained during the altercation.
