(WNY News Now) – A 34-year-old Jamestown resident, was apprehended on Feb. 26, 2024 at 4:44 PM following a domestic dispute on the East side, involving charges of Criminal Mischief 3rd and an outstanding arrest warrant. He is held in custody pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

In response to a domestic dispute on the East side, Jamestown Police 2nd Platoon officers were dispatched on 2/26/24 at 4:44 PM. Investigation revealed that Jeffrey L. Buchanan had damaged property belonging to the victim during the altercation. Buchanan was apprehended without incident. Subsequent inquiries unearthed an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the City of Jamestown Court. Currently, Buchanan is in custody awaiting arraignment for both the outstanding warrant and an additional charge of Criminal Mischief 3rd. The court proceedings are expected to take place in Jamestown City Court.
