(WNY News Now) – A 41-year old man was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd following a traffic stop in the Village of Sherman on Feb 26, 2024

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped Allan C. Detweiler’s vehicle for a traffic violation, leading to an order of protection violation charge. Subsequently, Narcotics Investigators obtained a search warrant for Detweiler’s residence. The search yielded 178 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a loaded revolver, and seven rifles. Detweiler was charged and transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
