(WNY News Now) – A Buffalo resident faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th after being stopped for a traffic violation on E. 6th Street near Spring Street on Feb. 27, 2024 at 12:00 noon.

On February 27, 2024, at 12:00 noon, officers conducting a GIVE detail in the vicinity of E. 6th Street and Spring Street observed a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction on a one-way street. The officers initiated a traffic stop to address the violation. Upon inspection, the driver, identified as 29-year-old Brandon J. Ball from Buffalo, was allegedly found to be in possession of a pair of plastic taser knuckles.

Subsequently, Ball was taken into custody without incident and transported to the City Jail. The charges filed against him include Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th. Following due processing, he was released on an appearance ticket, mandating his appearance at Jamestown City Court on a later date.
