(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – The Jamestown Police Department (JPD) released its weekly statistics, revealing a total of 735 calls for service, marking a 9.25% increase from the previous 7 days.

In the city of Jamestown, NY, the top 10 calls for service encompassed various incidents, including domestic disputes, well-being checks, suspicious situations, disorderly persons, animal complaints, unwanted persons, noise complaints, suspicious persons, vehicle-related issues, miscellaneous complaints, and cases of harassment. Noteworthy occurrences from the week included 2 burglaries, 1 assault incident, 3 mental health transports, 2 overdoses, and 1 ongoing narcotics investigation.

The JPD remained active in addressing community concerns and maintaining public safety throughout the reporting period.
