(WNY News Now) – In the early hours of February 29, 2024, a 21-year-old male from Northeast PA, was arrested in Ripley, NY, after a motor vehicle accident. Uninjured but allegedly intoxicated, he now faces charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, unreasonable speed, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on N.E. Sherman Rd. around 5:15 am, discovering Sprague inside the vehicle. Deputies arrested Sprague, who was later released and is scheduled to appear in the Ripley town court. The charges include aggravated DWI and multiple traffic violations. The incident unfolded following a motor vehicle accident, prompting law enforcement response.
