(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – In a routine traffic stop on March 4, 2024 at 7:30 pm at 817 N. Main St. (ROBO), Allegany resident a 33-year-old Allegany man was arrested for charges including Fugitive from Justice, Resisting Arrest, Assault 2nd (Police Officer), Criminal Impersonation, and other charges.
During a GIVE Hot Spot Detail operation, officers allegedly observed a traffic infraction leading to the stop. Kentrel L. Jackson, 33, allegedly provided false identification, revealing warrants from Rochester, NY. Attempting to flee, he resisted arrest and assaulted officers. A physical injury was sustained by one officer during the incident.
Identified as Kentrel L. Jackson of Allegany, NY, and formerly of Rochester, NY, his true identity revealed outstanding warrants from McKean County, PA. Jackson faces charges of being a Fugitive from Justice, Resisting Arrest, Assault 2nd, Criminal Impersonation, and multiple UTT’s. Held pending arraignment, an extradition hearing will determine his fate in Jamestown City Court.
