(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – In a concerning incident on Mach 4, 2024 at 1:52 PM, Jamestown Police responded to Prather Avenue for a lost child, resulting in the arrest of a 28-year-old on charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Responding to a call about a lost child, Jamestown Police discovered a 4-year-old wandering Prather Avenue, unable to provide his name or address. Investigation revealed that Jatwon D. Scott, 28, had allegedly fallen asleep, leading to the child leaving the residence unattended.

Scott was promptly arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child and was held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
