(WNY News Now) – Dunkirk, NY – A months-long narcotics investigation reached its climax today as authorities executed a search warrant at 51 E. 2nd St. in Dunkirk, NY, resulting in the arrest of a Dunkirk resident and the seizure of illicit substances and drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics Investigators from the Dunkirk Police Department and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a thorough search at 51 E. 2nd St., Dunkirk, concluding an extensive narcotics probe. Dunkirk Police SRT successfully entered the residence, apprehending Jose L. Pacheco, 26, on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th, and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.

The search yielded significant evidence, including 5 grams of crack cocaine, scales, packaging materials indicative of narcotics distribution, and a sum of US currency. Pacheco was transported to the Dunkirk Police Department for arraignment in the City of Dunkirk Court.
