(WNY News Now) – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shoplifting complaint at Crosby’s convenience store in Mayville, resulting in the arrest of a 37-year old Silver Creek, NY, man for petit larceny.
On March 15, 2024, at approximately 10:12 AM, deputies were called to Crosby’s convenience store at 14 N Erie St in Mayville regarding a shoplifting incident. Zachary A. Scott was identified as the suspect who allegedly took several items from the store without payment. Following an investigation, Scott was arrested and charged with petit larceny.
Scott, a resident of Silver Creek, NY, is scheduled to appear in the town of Chautauqua court at a later date to address the charges against him.
