(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 41-year-old male from Dunkirk, NY, was arrested by Jamestown Police after a traffic stop on Liberty St near E 6th St in the early hours of March 17th, 2024.
During the stop, officers discovered Marlo J. Carter was driving with a suspended New York State license and had multiple active warrants from Dunkirk City Court. Upon transportation to Dunkirk, Carter allegedly attempted to dispose of a quantity of Fentanyl, a controlled substance, from a concealed location on his person inside the patrol vehicle.
Marlo J. Carter faces charges including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (a felony), Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree. He was held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
