(WNY News Now) – Town of Pomfret  – A 47-year-old Buffalo man was apprehended by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office on Route 60 in the Town of Pomfret at 12:03 AM on March 17th, 2024, for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

During a routine vehicle and traffic stop, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office detained Antwain O Jackson, revealing him to allegedly be under the influence while operating his vehicle. Jackson faced charges including driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, speeding in a designated zone, and unsafe lane maneuvers. He was subsequently released with appearance tickets and is expected to attend proceedings at the Town of Pomfret Court in the near future.
